How much does podcast production cost in Australia?
Podcast production in Australia typically ranges from $500 to $1,500+ per month depending on the scope of your show. At Zen Den Studios, our Audio Podcast package starts from $500/month (up to 2 episodes), our Video Podcast package from $900/month, and our Full Production & Growth package from $1,500/month. What's included in a podcast production package?
Our packages include in-studio recording, professional editing and sound design, music intro and outro, episode show notes, and publishing to Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube. Higher-tier packages include multi-camera video production, set design and brand styling, colour grading, social media clips per episode, and dedicated producer support.
Do I need to provide my own equipment?
No. When you record at our studio in Burleigh Heads, Gold Coast, all professional recording equipment is provided. Our studio is fully set up for audio and video podcast production. If you prefer to record remotely, we can advise on equipment and record via high-quality remote capture. We also offer standalone editing services if you already have your own recordings.
How long does it take to produce a podcast episode?
Turnaround time for a finished episode is typically 3–5 business days from recording. This includes editing, sound design, music, and final export. Video podcast episodes with colour grading and social clips may take up to 7 business days. We work to your publishing schedule and can accommodate faster turnarounds where needed.
Can you record podcasts remotely?
Yes. We support remote podcast recording for guests and hosts who can't attend our Gold Coast studio in person. We use high-quality remote capture tools that produce clean, studio-grade audio. We serve clients across Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and the rest of Australia.
Do you publish the podcast to Spotify and Apple Podcasts?
Yes. All podcast production packages include distribution to major platforms including Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube. We handle the full submission process and can set up your RSS feed and hosting if you're starting from scratch.
Do you offer podcast editing only, without recording?
Yes. If you record your own episodes, we can handle the editing, sound design, music, and publishing on your behalf. Contact us to discuss editing-only rates, which vary depending on episode length and turnaround requirements.
Where is Zen Den Studios located?
